Phuket, Thailand's largest island is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Southeast Asia and is also the main city on the island. This island is rich in natural resources and is separated from the mainland by a narrow sea channel which is connected by a bridge. There are long beautiful sandy beaches, rocky coast lines and places with large limestone cliffs facing the ocean. There is a lot to do in Phuket, and consequently, a lot to spend your money too.

: Myanmar Passport Holders require visa at the Embassy of the Thailand. Holders of other
countries (check www.mga.go.th for complete list) may apply for tourist visas at the
immigration checkpoints for a period not exceeding 15 days. Applicants must fill in an application
form and attach a recent 2x2 inch photograph. The application fee is 1,000 baht.
