Angkor Wat, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, is located in Cambodia. The temples of Angkor are the greatest tourist attraction of Cambodia. They are the sacred remains which were built between 9th and 13th centuries. The most three magnificent temples are Bayon, Ta Prohm and Angkor Wat. Most of Angkor was abandoned in the 15th century and were cloaked by forest. The site became the source of scholarly interest in the late 19th century.
